This generation is in need of Uriahs, people whose heart are not satisfied with the now. Its only a man with short sight that live all his life base on his sides and never
look to his front.
The name Uriah literally means "Jehovah is my light or flame" but the name also transcend the physical realm into the soul of this man, the mentality of this man was God first and other things later. He carried a mentality that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 6:33; a mindset that God is everything that matter, a mindset that is fixed on God and everything that will bring God, glory.
This man was so consumed by his passion for God that even when his commanding officer set him up in a fierce place of the battle field, which being a soldier knew that it will endanger his life, he never complain. What a heart for God, what a soul burning with love for the almighty, a body that the fire of God has consume and reveal the nature of God to those around.
The church has to step to this hight, Shedrach, Meshach and Abenigo carried such midset , Daniel revealed same, Apostle Paul continuously demonstrated such mindset and he wrote let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus, the mind that can demonstrate what the Psamist said, the zeal of thy house has eaten me up.
It is time when the things of God no longer becomes our first priority but rather our utmost priority. Apostle Paul said I desired not to know anything about you but Christ that was crucified, he went on to write again that I may know you and the power of your resurrection, oh! What a statement, he said to die is gain and to live is Christ.
Let not our yarning for God only rest in our spirit but let it create a burning desire in our soul and a manifestation of it in our body.
Its time for this generation to answer back; that the Uriahs, the Shedrachs, The Josephs, the Apostle Pauls, the blood redeem who are not scared of those who can destroy the body but can't harm their spirit are here.
