The Administration of the Gift of the Spirit 1 Cor. 12:5
Whatever is not control will eventually run out of control.
When you are not able to manage or use biblical language to guide what is commission into your hand
it will kill you.
This is so important; it actually came before the operation of the gift as we can see through the text.
Now Samson in Judges 13 was born and he has the gift and he operates in it but there was no guidance so it destroyed him. Going through the bible we can see those that have the gift and it is operational, but they lost it due to lack of guidance such as Judah Iscariot, Gahazi, Ananias & Sapphira to mention but a few Jesus was referring to this sect of people and said on the last day he will say to them “ I will say unto them depart from me ye workers of iniquity” Apostle Paul haven the knowledge of this said that “ I put my body under subjection that after I might have preach I be a cast away”.
God will give you the gift by His Spirit, he will make it function but he will not do the job of the administration for you. It is your responsibility and my responsibility to submit to the lord Jesus Christ on daily basis. There are keys in the administration.
· Humility: you must bear in mind that though the gift of god are without repentance they are accountable.
· Prayer: prayer will make you remember that there is Someone bind the happenings
· Sensitivity Rom 8:16 when you are spiritually sensitive you will know when you are going outside the guidelines
· Your mouth James 3:5 a man that carries anointing don’t talk cheaply.
Faith is announce through the mouth so know what comes out of your mouth
· Gratitude Psalm 30: 12 gratitude grease the flow of the work of the Spirit, gratitude shows that you acknowledge that He is the doer, gratitude tells Him that you are not sharing the glory with him and gratitude proves that you are faithful in few and it ushers you to more.
The summary of the whole teaching is this, a friend comes and presents you with a gift, you received it and takes it to your Father, your Father by the reason of his Love unwraps it for you, you stretch out your hand to receive it after seeing the content you give it back to Him so that he can show to you how you can enjoy the gift.
